The software is so smart that it will not charge the customer for either tax or shipping when they order a gift
certificate. When the recipient of the gift returns to make a purchase, they will then be charged both tax (if applicable) and any
shipping fees that are necessary.
How gift certificates work?
When a customer purchases a gift certificate, the purchaser must provide an email address for the recipient of the certificate. When the gift certificate is purchased the recipient is instantly notified by email
and the recipient can immediately redeem the certificate online.
Redeeming gift certificates online
It is easy to redeem a gift coupon online. The customer will need to simply enter their gift certificate code when checking out. Once the code is matched with the expected email address, the certificate is accepted
and applied to the order. If the shopper has a remaining balance for the order, the remaining amount will need to be payed for using a second method of payment.
Administrating Gift Certificates
You can easily administrate your gift certificates using the online software. To adjust a gift certificate you will need to lookup the certificate and ajust its amount. It is that easy.
