  The Setup Process

1.)  Sign up for an account online

When you sign up for an account online we will instantly receive your order and begin to process your online store.  Our software meets most of the expectations for our customers, but some customers require a special integration of our service package.  Our software is completely customizable and we work with our customers to make sure that our solution will meet their needs.

2.)  Determine if additional services are needed.

Our software package will allow you to setup an online store simply and professionally. With our software you will be able to manage your products, change content on your pages, and fulfill your orders to your customers. It covers many of the main aspects of an online store. And this is why we built our solution.

What the basic setup includes:

  • Your package cost includes first months payment
  • Installation of ecommerce store software
  • Setup of allocated server space
  • Allocation of email accounts

What the basic setup does not include:
Customized web site design and product integration. Some customers have very specific needs and requirements for their products. Our initial setup fee does not cover the setup of products for your store. If you want us to setup your store for you completely we can do that. We can take photos of your products, input them into your store, and put all of the content onto your site. For customers who require service like this there will be extra charges applied. We can work with customers to provide either a fixed quote or a per hour charges.

If you determine that you need additional services, we can help. You also have the option of having you own designer work with our software and integrate it. We provide all of our accounts with FTP access, administration access, and email management software. For security purposes access to the database is not granted to designers. All modifications to the database must be performed by a Biz Shopping Cart programmer. Your design will have access to the entire front end of the application and can make whatever modifications your require.

Starting Custom Design Services
When you initiate design services, you will need to prepare a list of requirements. This list can be done in your favorite word processing program and emailed to us. Once we receive this document we will contact you and discuss your list of requirements. Depending on the scope/amount of changes that your site requires. All customers who need special design services should expect to make payment in advance for their services.

Additional Graphical Design
Many customers will want to give their site an extra advantage by utilizing our superior design services.  The basic template integration does not account for specialized graphical design and integration.  If you want a superior site, better than your competitors let us help you get there.  If you want us to put a custom design into your site, it would not be uncommon for you this service to cost $500 dollars in addition to your setup fee and your monthly fee.  For this, we will have an customer service representative contact you.  You should expect to provide them with a few sample web sites that you like.  We will also try to find out what you like about these sites, and what characteristics of these sites you want to integrate into your site.

If you have a logo will will ask that you send it to us.  Also, be prepared to tell us your color recommendations.  Providing this information to the graphic designer will help keep the cost down for you.  This will give us a head start into providing you with a "site mockup" that you will like.  Once the inital site mockup is complete, it will be sent to you in digital format and you will be able to discuss your feelings of it with our service associate.  With your comments our designers will rework your mock and send it back to you for more critique. 

This back and forth process will go on for two or three revisions until we narrow down the basic look for your site. At the end of this process, we will have a sample home page look for your site.  We will take this home page and integrate it into our software solution. Now, some customers will require an even more intensive site design, and we can help you there here.  If you have multiple pages that a require the attention of a professional graphical artist we can work with you to achieve this.

Custom production of your site.
After we completely understand your goals we will begin the production of your site.  We will give a time estimate and begin the production of your site.  We will notify you once you are able to begin working with your site and entering products.

Custom Data Solutions.
If you have advanced data needs we can help you.  Some customers have over 50,000 products listed on our software.  For a solution like this, we can create a special solution to simplify the management of your data.  Our software has the ability to accept an excel spreadsheet upload.  And if this works for you, great.
